Owner and Head Trainer-Maximum Sports Conditioning
Let Me Take You to the Next Level
A bit about me:
I am the owner of Maximum Sports Conditioning (est. 2007), I have been in and around sports training for 20 years. I played baseball at the University of Washington from 1997 until 2000, until a back injury ended my career. This is why I incorporate injury screening into my training packages, injury prevention is just as important as training.
I have been highly active in organized sports for as long as I can remember, and still spend many hours of my free time engaged in community activities for both youth and adults. I started my career as a personal trainer and decided to apply my philosophies and skills to a larger audience. I followed my passion and my dream by opening Maximum Sports Conditioning in 2010.
When you train at MaxSC, you are not just a player or a member, you are family. My trainers and I will be your biggest fans and help you overcome obstacles, improve speed, efficiency and power by working with you, your family and your coaches, making sure you are at your best, on and off season.
Training, Clinics and Mentorship
While serving as an assistant coach at UW, I also interned in the Husky weight room. I became a part-time assistant strength coach in 2001 and a full time coach in 2002. I served as the the head coach for baseball, softball, swimming, and volleyball. I also worked extensively with football, basketball, track and soccer.
Along with training thousands of collegiate athletes, and the 2005 NCAA National Championship Volleyball team at the UW, I have trained professionals of all backgrounds ranging from mixed martial arts to Olympic snowboarders.
I have held numerous clinics and seminars for youths and adults, and find that it’s a great way to reach out to the community.
If you are interested in partaking in one of my clinics, please reach out to me personally, and I will make sure you have a spot saved for next event.
In 2006-2007 I served as the Director of Training and Education at “Endzone Athletics”, establishing and operating countless programs for high school athletes.
I currently serve on the Sports Performance Team for Volt Athletics, an online sports conditioning program.
I believe in participating in my community and make every effort to instill these values in my children. I am currently the treasurer for the Austin Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that runs health and wellness programs for underprivileged youth. In 2010, I created and ran a fundraiser, Washington’s Strongest School Competition, which I ran for two years. From 2011 to 2013, I served as a mentor in the Bellevue Ground-Breakers program, a leadership development program for African-American middle school boys.
I continue to serve on the board of Athletes Beyond Borders, an organization designed to increase the number of inner city kids playing baseball and volleyball.
