Keaton Everitt recently finished a professional career in baseball before joining the staff at MaxSC in 2009. He recently became a certified sports conditioning expert with MaxSC. Keaton also runs his own pitching instruction business, Everitt Athletics, and coaches baseball at Lake Washington High School and with the Eastlake Sammamish Baseball Association, as well as is a senior advisor to Everitt Capital, an independent brokerage started by his brother, Trevor Everitt.
From 2001-2005, Keaton pitched for the University of Washington and trained under Daniel Jahn (founder of MaxSC). After graduating with a degree in Economics B.S., he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 17t h round and spent the 2005-2007 seasons with them before tearing his labrum in his shoulder and deciding against surgery, retired from baseball in 2008. He compiled a perfect 11-0 record in his short career and won 3 league championships with the Gulf Coast Yankees and twice with the Staten Island Yankees. He finished his career with the Charleston Riverdogs in the South Atlantic League.
Keaton brings his professional athletic experience and knowledge into his current training style and philosophy. He knows what it takes to both physically and mentally advance in athletics.
Keaton credits DJ with much of his success on the field through their experience together at the UW and also with his success on the coaching level, through DJ’s mentorship while at MaxSC. Knowing what he knows now, Keaton feels very strongly that his career might have had a different outcome if he was able to train with MaxSC as a young amateur athlete.
Keaton looks forward to working with athletes of all ages and skill levels in helping them reach their goals, push themselves to levels beyond their imagination, and become champions in sports and in life!
