ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT SPECIALIST
BA Psychology, Washington State University
For over 12 years Tim has developed a unique reputation as one of the premier athletic performance enhancement specialists in the Northwest. He has developed a specialized service based on his mission to utilize his education and applicable experience to educate, direct, empower and motivate athletes/clients and/or teams in the areas of prehabilitation or injury prevention, efficiency of movement and mobility mechanics as well as all criteria of athletic performance enhancements. His proven performance enhancement programs are based on the latest research in exercise science, sports psychology, and general sports nutrition for the purpose of developing and maximizing the physical and mental link involved in ones innate athletic performance potential. Before joining the Maximum Sports Conditioning Team, he spent 5 years as the former Co-Founder and Athletic Performance Enhancement Specialist for the Athletic Training Institute, LLC of Bellevue, WA. Over the years Tim has worked with a myriad of female and male athletes representing all areas of competitive sports and movement disciplines. Tim’s clients range from youth to the elite world class athlete, some representing professional organizations such as the NBA, WNBA, NFL and Major League Baseball. His consultation breadth includes Recreational Sports Teams, Youth Athletic Clubs and AAU Programs, High School Athletic Programs, Collegiate Athletic Programs, Professional Athletic Teams, Showcase Camps/Combines and industry interdisciplinary Symposiums/Clinics. Tim is also recognized as a referral target from many respected Orthopedics, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors in the region who trust his knowledge and expertise to safely administer programs that prepare their Post rehab clients for competitive readiness.
Tim competed at a high level and in a myriad of popular sports for the majority of his life. Notably, he was a former Washington State High School Track & Field 800-meter State Champion and record holder as well as a former Team Captain and Pac-10 800-meter champion for the Washington State University Track and Field Team. He competed internationally and throughout the continental United States. Injuries as a result of poorly organized training prematurely curtailed his competitive lifespan and potential. This negative experience is the stimulus that motivates him to see to it that his clients received the best service possible for the purpose of lowering probability for non-contact, self inflicted, acute and chronic injuries, thus allowing the full benefit of developing and maximizing full athletic potential.
